Terms of Use

Effective and last updated 25 August 2026 · Terms version 2026-08-25 · ZUNO WORKS, K.K.

These terms govern the supply, licensing and use of Conform (the software), published by ZUNO WORKS, K.K. (we, us). Downloading, installing or using the software means you accept them. The terms version applicable to a purchase is also recorded in the order-confirmation email. For a card purchase using Stripe Managed Payments, Sold through Link, LLC is the transaction seller and merchant of record and handles payment, transaction receipts and documents, and supported indirect taxes. We supply and license the software, deliver it and provide product support.

1. What your licence covers

Buying the software grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it. We deliver proof of that entitlement as a signed offline licence.

One licence covers one person or one company. There is no limit on the number of Macs used.

A company licence covers up to ten users. For eleven or more, please use the contact form.

1a. Free trial

Before buying, you may run unlimited diagnoses and create one editable export free of charge. A failed export does not use the free export. The used-trial receipt stays on your Mac and is not sent to us.

You must not delete, alter or bypass that receipt for the purpose of restoring or repeatedly using the free export. This does not prevent a normal app deletion or update.

2. What you may not do

3. About the converted result

The software reads what Final Cut Pro writes and writes XML for Premiere Pro. These are different products from different companies, and not everything carries across unchanged.

Unsupported elements and approximations detected by the software are listed before you convert and saved as a report next to the output. The decision to deliver remains yours: open the result in Premiere Pro and compare it against the Final Cut Pro original first.

4. No warranty

The software is provided as is. We do not warrant that it fits any particular purpose, that it runs without interruption, or that every defect will be corrected.

Nothing here limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

5. Limit of liability

Our total liability is capped at what you actually paid for the software. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, lost data, or time spent re-editing.

This limit does not apply to wilful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be limited by law.

6. Refunds

After the signed licence has been sent, change-of-mind purchases are generally not refundable. Licence failures and refunds required by law are exceptions.

If activation or a licence does not work, we will reissue it at any time, with no deadline. If you report the failure within 14 days of purchase and reissuing does not solve it, we refund you in full.

If you live in the EU or the UK, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase for any reason and receive a full refund. Use the contact form.

For a transaction labelled Sold through Link, you may also request a refund directly from Link Support within 60 days of completion for eligible reasons such as non-delivery, material misdescription, unfitness for purpose, corrupted digital goods, or an unauthorised or duplicate payment. Where Link's refund policy is more favourable to you than these terms, Link's policy controls to that extent. Mandatory cooling-off and other statutory rights remain unaffected.

This voluntary refund policy is separate from your statutory rights. If the software does not conform to the contract, nothing in these terms removes any mandatory right to have it brought into conformity, receive a replacement or price reduction, terminate the contract, obtain a refund, or use another remedy available under applicable consumer law. A 14-day limit does not apply to a statutory right where the law gives you longer.

If you live in Australia, the consumer guarantees and remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply in full.

When a full refund or chargeback becomes final, the licence granted here ends. You must stop using the software and delete copies of the software and licence in your possession, except where applicable law requires a different result.

EU and UK model cancellation notice

To ZUNO WORKS, K.K.: I hereby give notice that I cancel my contract for the purchase of Conform. Include the purchase date, your name, address, purchase email address and the date of this notice, then send it through the contact form.

7. Updates

Updates are included at no extra cost. We are not obliged to keep producing them indefinitely, except for updates, including security updates, that applicable law requires us to provide.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. A change applies to purchases made after it is published on this page. We will not use a change to narrow the licence of anyone who has already bought.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Japanese law. Disputes go to the Kanazawa District Court as the court of first instance.

If you are a consumer, choosing Japanese law and that court does not remove the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you habitually live or any right you have to bring proceedings there.

10. Language and contact

The Japanese and English versions are intended to describe the same offer. Neither version limits a mandatory right under applicable law.

Questions about these terms: please use the contact form or email info@zunoworks.ai.
