The app never sends us your edit. Your projects, your media, the words in your titles and the converted result are all handled on your own Mac. We never receive them.
The Mac App Store edition makes no network connections. Apple provides its purchase, download and updates; it has no separate licence check or update check.
The direct edition from our website checks a signed update feed (appcast.xml) once a day and, when a new version is available, downloads the signed app from our site. Update checks and downloads carry no cookie, account, device identifier, edit content or usage data. Anonymous system profiling is disabled.
As with any web request, your IP address appears in the access log of our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.). We do not use those logs to identify individuals.
Only the direct edition's first activation after purchase or on a new Mac retrieves the signed licence from the activation page. After that, verification stays on your Mac. There is no periodic server check, Mac registration or usage reporting.
After the direct edition's free first export succeeds, it stores only a used-trial receipt in Keychain and Application Support. It contains no project name, file name, edit content, email address or device identifier, and is never sent to us. The Mac App Store edition has no trial or separate licence record.

Your name, email address and message are required if you want a reply; a company name is optional. A purchase email address and billing information for the direct edition are required to process payment, deliver the licence, prevent fraud and keep legally required records. Without them, the purchase cannot be completed. Apple handles purchase information for the Mac App Store edition.
We do not make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you. Stripe or Apple may carry out automated processing, including fraud screening, as independent controllers.
We keep no database of contact-form submissions. What you send is forwarded straight to our enquiries mailbox, and that mailbox is where it lives.
Direct-edition purchase records are held by Stripe. A copy of the purchase-confirmation email we send is also retained in our private order-record mailbox. It includes the buyer's email address, order reference, payment total and tax, and signed licence. It does not include a card number. Apple holds Mac App Store purchase records, and we receive sales and financial reports through App Store Connect.
The direct edition's used-trial receipt remains only in Keychain and Application Support on your Mac. We do not receive it.
We never sell, rent or trade your information. These providers receive only what they need to deliver the service.

Processing by these providers may take place outside Japan. Their contractual data-processing and transfer terms are described in App Store & Privacy, the Stripe DPA, Resend DPA and Vercel DPA. You may ask us through the contact form for information about the safeguards applicable to our use of those services.
You can ask us to show you, correct, delete, or stop using the information we hold about you. Write to us through the contact form. Once we have confirmed who you are, we respond within the period required by applicable law. If the law permits an extension, we notify you within the original period and explain why. We may need to retain information until the end of a statutory tax, accounting or other legal retention period.
If you live in the EU or the UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR also give you rights to restrict processing, data portability and objection. Where a processing activity relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent for the future. You may also complain to your supervisory authority.
We will never treat you worse for exercising any of these rights.

This is a professional editing tool and is not aimed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Any change is published on this page and the date at the top is updated. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we email the address you bought with.
